Copyright Infringement Notice

Your written notification (“Notification”) should include the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
  • Identification of the material that you believe is infringing, along with information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the material on our website.
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Our Response

Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice, Just Like a Woman may:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the individual or party that posted the material.
  • Take reasonable steps to inform the affected party that the content has been removed or disabled.

Counter Notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written Counter Notification containing:

  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its previous location on the website.
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal Court. If you reside outside the United States, you consent to the jurisdiction of any United States Federal Court where applicable.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Response to Counter Notification

Upon receiving a valid Counter Notification, Just Like a Woman may:

  • Provide a copy of the Counter Notification to the original complainant.
  • Inform the complainant that the removed material may be restored within ten (10) business days.
  • Restore the material between ten (10) and fourteen (14) business days after receiving the Counter Notification unless we receive notice that legal action has been filed seeking to prevent restoration of the material.

Repeat Infringers

Just Like a Woman respects the intellectual property rights of others and reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for users who repeatedly violate copyright laws.
